Classrooms and Seminar Halls

Poonamchand Gupta Vocational College provides top-notch infrastructure to our students. Our classrooms and seminar halls are well-furnished with comfortable seating and good acoustics, equipped with LCD projectors, screens, and multimedia facilities for presentations and discussions. A Stationery Centre meets daily student needs.

 

Our management ensures comprehensive facilities, including laboratories, spacious classrooms, a vast library, clean hostels, and more, creating an intellectually stimulating and physically invigorating environment. The academic infrastructure supports various disciplines and higher studies, with modern equipment for Research and Development.

 

Faculty and Departments

Labs and Facilities

Computer Lab: Equipped with the latest hardware and software technologies, including scanners, printers, projectors, and high-speed internet. Features a UNIX server, Database Server, and Windows-based network.

 

Electronics Lab: Includes equipment for semiconductors, digital electronics, modulation devices, breadboards, control systems, and communication system boards.

 

Physics Lab:  Features laser-related devices, inertia tables, and other equipment to enhance students' physics knowledge.

 

Seed Technology Lab: Offers advanced study in seed science, covering seed production, pathology, quality control, and marketing.

 

Botany Lab: Equipped with molecular biology and tissue culture labs, a museum, and a botanical garden, covering a wide range of plant sciences.

 

Chemistry Lab: Provides modern equipment for studying the natural universe through observation and testing.

 

Zoology Lab: Facilitates the study of vertebrate and invertebrate animals with comprehensive lab equipment.

 

Teaching Lab: Supports practicals in human psychology and teaching techniques.

 

Educational Technology Lab:  Equipped with CCTV, LCD projectors, digital cameras, and other educational tools to meet pupil teacher needs.

 

Workshop: Offers training in gardening, drawing, painting, embroidery, tailoring, bookbinding, music, and dance.

 

Curriculum Lab: A center for instructional materials in teacher education, supporting professional courses and student teaching.

 

ICT Lab: Promotes the use of ICT in lesson planning and delivery, encouraging students to develop ICT-related instructional materials. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled.

 

 

Library

Our well-equipped library houses a vast collection of books, journals, magazines, periodicals, encyclopedias, dictionaries, and newspapers, centrally located on campus.

 

Auditorium/Seminar Hall

Our aesthetically designed auditorium hosts various activities and cultural programs. We conduct regular seminars and conferences to keep students and faculties updated.

 

Canteen

Our canteen offers fresh refreshments at reasonable prices and serves as a social hub. It features a water harvesting system and an additional food outlet, Happiness Corner.
