History

Poonamchand Gupta Vocational College, established in 1997 by the Nimar Educational Society, promotes vocational and professional education in Khandwa district. The society, founded in 1946, also operates Vallabhdas Ishwardas Subhas Higher Secondary School, Arvind Kumar Nitin Kumar Montessori English Higher Secondary School, and Sunderbai Gupta Girls Higher Secondary School, providing education from kindergarten to postgraduate levels.
