Established in the pre-independence era, Nimar Education Society was founded by visionary leaders Shri Poonamchand Ji Gupta, Shri Kashiram Ji Bahety, and others to meet the growing educational needs of Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. Officially registered on February 13, 1946, the society has played a vital role in shaping the region’s academic landscape by promoting quality education, vocational training, and student empowerment through institutions like PCG College.

In the year 1947, Nimar Education Society took its first major step in transforming the educational landscape of Khandwa by establishing B.E. Subhash Higher Secondary School. This institution marked the beginning of the society’s mission to deliver quality education at the grassroots level, nurturing young minds and setting a strong foundation for future academic excellence in the region.

In 1977, Nimar Education Society expanded its commitment to inclusive and modern education by establishing the Arvindkumar Nitinkumar Montessori English School. Designed for both boys and girls, the school introduced English as the medium of instruction, aiming to provide early childhood education that met contemporary academic standards while fostering a strong foundation in language and learning skills.

In 1997, honoring the vision and legacy of its founder member, the Society established the Poonamchand Gupta Vocational College. This institution was founded with the aim of promoting higher education through industry-relevant vocational courses, empowering students with practical skills and career-focused training to meet the evolving demands of the job market.
