Types of Aid

SC and ST Category Candidate

For SC and ST category students, the Government provides financial assistance through scholarship schemes to support their higher education. To be eligible, the annual family income should not exceed ₹6.00 lakhs from all sources. This ensures that the benefits reach deserving students from economically weaker sections, helping them continue their studies without financial burden.

OBC (Other Backward Class) Candidates

For OBC (Other Backward Class) candidates, the scholarship aims to promote equal educational opportunities for students from economically weaker backgrounds. To qualify, the annual family income should not exceed ₹3.00 lakhs from all sources. This provision ensures that financial support is directed toward students who genuinely need assistance to pursue their education.

Minority and Central Sector Scheme

For Minority and Central Sector Scheme candidates, the scholarship provides financial aid to meritorious students from economically weaker families belonging to minority communities. To be eligible, the annual family income must not exceed ₹2.50 lakhs. This initiative encourages academic excellence by helping deserving students continue their higher education without financial constraints.
