Welcome To PCG
For SC and ST category students, the Government provides financial assistance through scholarship schemes to support their higher education. To be eligible, the annual family income should not exceed ₹6.00 lakhs from all sources. This ensures that the benefits reach deserving students from economically weaker sections, helping them continue their studies without financial burden.
For OBC (Other Backward Class) candidates, the scholarship aims to promote equal educational opportunities for students from economically weaker backgrounds. To qualify, the annual family income should not exceed ₹3.00 lakhs from all sources. This provision ensures that financial support is directed toward students who genuinely need assistance to pursue their education.
For Minority and Central Sector Scheme candidates, the scholarship provides financial aid to meritorious students from economically weaker families belonging to minority communities. To be eligible, the annual family income must not exceed ₹2.50 lakhs. This initiative encourages academic excellence by helping deserving students continue their higher education without financial constraints.
To apply for the government scholarship schemes, students must submit all the required documents for verification. These include a valid Caste Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Income Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Samagra ID, and a Transfer Certificate (TC) copy. Applicants should also provide a Gap Certificate (if applicable), a copy of their Bank Passbook linked with Aadhaar and NPCI, and a Profile Registration form in the case of ST students. Ensuring that all documents are authentic and up-to-date is essential for a successful application.

Only SC/ST hostel residents and rental students can apply for the Awas Scholarship. The renewal of scholarships will depend on the student’s academic performance in the previous year. Scholarships will be discontinued in case of ATKT, violation of rules, or non-compliance with scheme provisions. Once discontinued, the student will not be eligible to reapply under the same scheme.
