Code of Conduct for Teachers
The College expects all teachers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism,
integrity, and ethical conduct while fostering a positive academic environment.
Professional Ethics
- Teachers shall maintain honesty, integrity, and fairness in all academic and administrative duties.
- They must uphold the dignity of the teaching profession at all times.
- Teachers shall not engage in any activity that brings disrepute to the institution.
Academic Responsibilities
- Teachers must prepare and deliver lectures effectively as per the approved curriculum.
- They shall assess students fairly and objectively without bias or favoritism.
- Regular evaluation, mentoring, and academic support to students is expected.
Discipline and Conduct
- Teachers shall maintain discipline and decorum within classrooms and on campus.
- Use of abusive language, harassment, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.
- They must follow institutional rules, policies, and administrative instructions.
Respect and Inclusion
- Teachers shall respect diversity and promote an inclusive learning environment.
- No discrimination based on gender, caste, religion, language, or disability shall be tolerated.
- Mutual respect towards students, colleagues, and staff is mandatory.
Digital and Professional Behavior
- Teachers shall use digital platforms responsibly for academic purposes.
- Sharing of confidential or sensitive information without authorization is prohibited.
- Online behavior must reflect the values and reputation of the institution.
Disciplinary Action
- Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action as per institutional rules.
- Actions may include warning, suspension, or termination depending on the severity of misconduct.
- The decision of the College Management shall be final and binding.
